Analyst/Senior Analyst
AircraftRisk.com, a market leader in the analysis and modeling
of complex risks, seeks analysts/senior analysts to join its quantitative team.
Analysts/Senior analysts participate in all phases of model building, but focus
primarily on implementing stochastic simulations for large-scale
risk measurement tools.
Candidates will be expected to develop technology solutions independently,
and to work reliably under time pressure with a small team of outstanding
colleagues.
Ideally, candidates will possess a quantitative undergraduate degree
(e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance or Economics)
and the following skills:
- Strong programming experience in Matlab or proficiency in C/C++,
Java or Perl,
- Knowledge of basic econometric and statistical methods and
familiarity with Stata, SAS, Gauss, or a comparable statistical
software package and
- An understanding of databases.
Relevant work experience is helpful but not required.
